One of Dempsey's students is restoring a bass guitar for a friend for Christmas. He sent me the file yesterday and I didn't get to it until today. I asked if he lived in the neighborhood and he said yes. So I put them on my window sill after they got done.

This is our second year for Day of Code. Last year 7 teachers gave students an opportunity to choose from a variety of coding opportunities. This year the entire school exposed kids to coding. 7th graders coded on Tuesday and 8th graders on Friday. The best part to me is most teachers don't know how to code, but were willing to take a risk. It was an amazing day filled with a variety of experiences. Thank you to all involved for the patience, support, and taking a chance for kids.
I ran 3D printing with Tinkercad.com and here was a design someone completed during one session.
